A studio specialising in architecture and town-planning,
engaging in environmental and urban regeneration projects,
and above all in the redevelopment of obsolete industrial
areas and the design and planning of office parks and
large-scale technological plants, quattroassociati has
designed both public and private housing estates
as well as school, sports and business facilities.
It has developed projects for companies such as AEM,
Spea ingegneria Europea, SNAM, AMSA, Pirelli RE,
Ondeo Degremont, CMB, Edison, Energia, ABB Alstom.
It has long-standing cooperation agreements with leading
manufacturing and trading companies such as Gabel,
Bric’s, the Mauro Saviola Group, Alcea, Pulverit, Union,
for which it sees to the design of offices and production
sites and oversees concept definition, shop and store
design and exhibition installations.
Over the past few years it has acquired specific
know-how in the architectural planning of large
technological plants – incineration plants, water
treatment plants, thermal power stations – and road
infrastructure, among them the AMSA SillaII incineration
plant in Milan, for which in 2003 it was awarded the
Triennale’s gold medal for Italian architecture and the
Milan-based San Rocco water treatment plant
inaugurated in November 2004.
