The project proposes, as a settlement choice, a system of buildings where the relationship between the parts and the design of open spaces are the pre-eminent connotative aspects, respecting the times and programs of the client, as an alternative to a unitary and compact type traditional.
The project area located along the Varesina state road between the urban centers of Villaguardia and Lurate Caccivio, is located in
a territorial context where the urbanization process is so widespread that the size of the urban area is almost indefinable.
Therefore, the creation of a square has been proposed, defined by three buildings that, in addition to being an important and significant collective place, become a reference point for the overall settlement system.
Tertiary and commercial activities are located on it.
The road connecting Via Varesina and via Monterosa, crossing the square, highlights its urban role.
