Competition
The new headquarters of the Institute is established as the boundary between the urbanized area of the south and the agricultural park north. The horizontality of the development of the building, consisting of three layers, stresses the altimetrical soil, enhances the morphology and allows, at different altitudes, a plurality of access to the building. Its planimetric in east-west direction diagonally crossing the top of the ridge and continues on the south side as a reference image perceived by the highway.
This "horizontal mark" viable in the summit, is a scenic route, a veritable "architectural promenade". A system of walkways and a new road to the ridge and ensure accessibility to the project, liaising with the surroundings so as to suggest the opportunity to extend the function of the agricultural park through new connections with the areas of public interest: the Institute of Agriculture and the Faculty of Veterinary along the valley southeast.
